The Hall Management Committee has purchased a fully Automatic Defibrillator for emergency use within the Etchinghill community.

It has been installed on the outside of the Hall to the left of the front entrance as you enter the Hall.

Two training/instruction sessions have been arranged which will last no more than one hour and are free to any member of our community that would like to attend. The Hall will fund the costs.

The sessions will be held:

1. At Open House on Monday 15th May 11am.

2. At the Hall on Wednesday 31st May 7-30pm.

VILLAGE MARKET Saturday 6th May starting at 10.00 am.  Plenty of stalls selling local crafts, produce, food etc. Refreshments available.

AGM  for the  Etchinghill Village Hall will be held at the Hall on Sunday 14th May 6pm. Please come along and support your Hall and your Committee and tell us what you would like to see in the year ahead. All residents of Etchinghill are welcome.

Open House Diary

All Welcome!

OPEN HOUSE every Monday (except Bank Holidays) from 10.00 – 12.00.

The speaker on 22nd May, is Alan Taylor who will be giving a talk on “Folkestone – Then and Now”.  A selection of his  photos, covering many decades, of the surrounding area should prove of nostalgic interest to many people.  Refreshments will be available on all Mondays.

We will also be organising a luncheon on the 8th May at The Bell in Hythe.  Please give your names to Wendy  (863495) if you would like to attend.

When we have a guest speaker, please be at the village hall by 10.30 am at the latest.

If YOU have any suggestions about what we could do at Open House, then please speak to Barbara or Wendy.  We could fit more events in – or save your suggestion until next year – it will not be wasted!!
