Our Cinema Club is held on the 3rd Monday of each month. Please arrive by 7.15 pm for a 7.30 pm start. Details as below:

Updates to screenings (film changes, cancellations etc) will be published on this website, local posters and in the Lyminge Newsletter and Shepway Advertiser, time permitting.

E.R.A. EVENTS PLANNED FOR 2017

Fun Quiz Saturday 6 May - Please support our village teenagers and friends who will be setting the questions. The event will be held at the Village Hall at 7 for a 7.30 pm start. Entry is £3 pp for tables of up to 6. To reserve a table please contact the ERA secretary, Geraldine McCombe by email gpmccombe49@gmail.com or phone 07544 670363. Please bring your own food and refreshments

Village Sign Opening and celebration Saturday 20 May - details TBA

Village Clean-Up Saturday 14 October - volunteers please meet at the Village Hall at 10 am for a couple of hours (maximum) to pick up litter and tidy the hamlet ready for the autumn. Pick-up sticks, gloves and refuse sacks will be provided.

Autumn Fun Quiz Saturday 14 October - this popular event will be held at the Village Hall - doors open at 7 for a 7.30 pm start. Contact the ERA secretary, Geraldine McCombe, to book a table (maximum 6 persons per table) - cost £3 pp. Please bring your own refreshments and drinks.

Christmas Tree Lighting and Carol Singing Sunday 26 November starting at 5 pm.  We hope to have a youth brass band supporting the event this year. Festive drinks and snacks will be provided. Please meet at the large Christmas tree at Meriden Park adjacent to Canterbury Road. Event shelters will be erected nearby, subject to weather.

ERA AGM Sunday 3 December - Doors open at 7 for a 7.30 pm start. Refreshments provided. Please support the ERA and get involved in what is happening in the hamlet and surrounding area. We are seeking a new secretary for the following year owing to changes within the committee through personal reasons - would you be able to help, please?
